Mountain views, rocking chairs, and a screened in porch for the ultimate relaxing get away. Just 12 miles to Boone and Appalachian State. Hiking, fishing, campground, community swimming pool, tennis, paddle-boating, fitness center at clubhouse as well as a game room. House has game room of its own in lower level with pool table. Linens provided for your stay. Flat screen TV's in upper three bedrooms and main living room, surround sound, and gaming console. Ample space for everyone to sit down for dinner and enjoy a good movie. Closest area for shopping, dining, and entertainment is Boone, but other cities nearby include, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, West Jefferson, Valle Crucis (Mast General Store) and for Skiing you have App Ski Mountain, Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain. Local breweries including Booneshine, Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Lost Province, and Boondocks. Local Restaurants include Bistro Roca in Blowing Rock, Peppers in Boone, the Local, and more. NOTE there is no Uber, or food delivery options to Powder Horn... so make sure to stop at the grocery store on the way in. Second fridge in the basement for additional storage for larger groups. NEW Pool Table and PacMan in Lower level. THIS CABIN DOES NOT ALLOW PETS AT THIS TIME

  This was a perfect location and accommodations for our girls weekend getaway. Devotions, crafts, cooking, games, Reading and hiking unfortunately in the rain. Definitely recommend getting there before dark and having all your supplies not really convenient to run out if you forget something. You may want to bring extra linens ,trash bags and paper towels. We will probably return next year thank you for to my friend for letting us rent the property.

  We had a fabulous stay in the Boonesfarm Hideaway rental! The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays, very clean, well kept, and well stocked. It is in a quiet, beautiful location at the end of the development it's located in. We loved how everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, the dining area was large enough to comfortably fit our group of 6, plenty of counter space in the kitchen as well as bathrooms... Cannot say enough good things about this rental. Loved it! Not to mention, Susan was a pleasure to work with when making our reservation.

  The cabin was perfect! We shared such a special time together in this sweet cabin! It was so clean and homey❤️We loved it so much!! There was something for everyone. My 7 year old niece especially loved Packman. My only recommendation is that this place NEEDS a hot tub! Besides that, it’s perfect!

  My family and I booked this cabin as a last minute evacuation plan to get away from the hurricane after having cancel our beach plans in the outer banks. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and the hostess, Susan Chaney! Beautiful weather and very few people on the campsite were nice bonuses as well. :) We will be back to PHM for sure!!
