Powder Horn Mountain Covid Update 07/13/20 - The community Clubhouse including fitness center and pool tables are closed, however, the pool is open with limited capacity of 16. If the pool is full we encourage you to go to the campground where there are tons of swimming holes! There are no restrictions on using the ponds to fish, paddle boats, hiking trails, playground tennis court, etc. Masks are required in all public places in town. Stay safe out there!Massive views day and night in this over 3000 sq ft home. Four bedrooms, Q,K,K, Two twins, 3 full baths. Main Floor complete with Master suite (Q) with deck access and private TV, Kitchen, Living room with TV, just two steps into entryway. There is also a massive screened porch on this level. Kitchen is fully equipped with crock pot, drip coffee maker, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, glassware, blender, an assortment of spices, knives and cutting boards. Living room with big screen TV, plenty of room to sit and enjoy the view, small breakfast area and bar area as well as game table for cards or your game of chess. There is a gas grill on the back deck on this level as well. Upper Level is two bedrooms(K,K) and one bath. There is also a small loft on this level with a futon, and reading nook. Lower level includes the fourth bedroom with two twin beds and full bath. The lower level has also been converted into a pseudo movie room with massive big screen TV, surround sound, popcorn maker, wrap around couch, pool table, air hockey table, dart board and also has access to massive back deck and multiple outdoor seating areas. Hummingbird Ridge is located in Powder Horn Mountain where guests are able to enjoy a variety of additional community amenities including: Hiking, fishing, clubhouse with fitness center, community swimming pool, tennis court, playground, chapel, paddle boating, campground, and multiple river access points on Laurel Creek or Elk creek for day hikes or picnics! Pet fee for this house is $50 per pet for the entire stay. Community is gated so a gate code will be provided when you book as well as a combination to access the house. All linens are provided as well as one roll of paper towel and toilet paper for each bathroom. The community is 12 miles to Appalachian State University, 20 miles to Blowing Rock, 25 miles to Banner Elk. Easy access to all the ski resorts, shopping on Main St in Blowing Rock, or King St in Boone, NC. Easy access to Elk Creek which is a State stocked trout stream. Easy day trips to Grandfather Vineyards, or Wahoo's adventures for tubing or Kayaking! Many local breweries near by including AMB, Booneshine. and even Boonedocks in West Jefferson!

  The house is very big and pretty. The game room is absolutely a very nice bonus for the kids. The view is amazing. We had a very stay, thank you so much.

  Very quiet and relaxing spot with beautiful mountain and valley views. It’s a 20+ minutes from Boone so make sure you have all you need (including gas) befiore you arrive.
