The Summit at Blue Ridge

Welcome to The Summit at Blue Ridge! The house looks like a log church nestled in the mountains. It sits on 26 acres of mountain valleys and trails, so there are no close neighbors around! We hope you will feel the love and find rest during the days that you are here. You will hear the night sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountains….you will feel the seclusion from the hustle and bustle of city life….you will see the stars as though you were on the front porch of heaven…you will see treasures along the trails that God has placed in the secret spots in the woods…you might even see some wild turkeys along the path, or a glimpse of a beautiful deer. . It is beautifully decorated throughout. The home has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The bathroom in the downstairs has a Jacuzzi tub. There are two stone gas fireplaces, one upstairs in the great room, and one downstairs. The washer-dryer are downstairs for your use. All Linens are provided. There is on Q and one K in the upstairs bedrooms, one queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, a set of twin beds and a full bed in the loft, plus the sleeper sofa that is in the basement great room. There are also two full size cribs and two high chairs. The fully-equipped kitchen will probably be the place where you will enjoy many moments around the large dining room table We recommend stopping at the store prior to arrival... Once you get here you won't want to leave! Satelite internet is provided as well as direct TV. Pool Table, Pull out couch in basement to queen. Some movies and books provided. Tons of hiking and adventures to be had! Close to state stocked trout streams and about 30 mins to Blowing Rock. Closest city is either Lenoir or Wilkesboro.The favorite place to hang out is the deck. The view is breath-taking! The hot tub on the deck has an incredible view of the mountains in the day and the myriad of stars at night. We have a gas grill that you are welcome to use. Satellite is upstairs and downstairs for the TVs and there is a CD player with speakers for your enjoyment. The house is newly equipped with monitor system Heat and Air. Also you will enjoy the fresh mountain air at night with the screens placed in the open windows! You might even hear the whippoorwill calling in the evening and early morning hours!Bring your camera for those special glimpses of clouds on the mountains or the full rainbow after a mountain shower or just the God-given natural beauty of the surroundings. There are a lot of trails to explore on the mountain property. The Summit backs up to 6,000 acres of a National Wildlife Preserve. It is truly a Summit for the Soul!

  Absolutely loved this house and the location was perfect! We were looking for seclusion and we found it here. One piece of advice to others, come in a truck or 4-wheel drive vehicle, tough driveway for a car. Will definitely stay here again!!

  Great views from the property, it sits high on the summit so you get great views from the deck or while in the hot tub. Very spacious clean ac wifi games fire pitt full equipped kitchen great location. Hassle free rental friendly professional staff. My family loved it, will definitely love to book again.

  we stayed in this fabulous home for the month of June escaping the humidity of our city. thiis house is gigantic and impeccably clean. the hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountains and clouds is a bonus ! the kitchen is very well stocked and every hang out area in the house is so comfortable. also there is privacy having 3 levels of rooms. beds were very comfortable. we felt like we were isolated from everything and everyone which was incredible. Listened to the Whipperwills sing every night and loved hanging at the large firepit in the evenings. Manager Susan was so very responsive and helpful for any of our needs. there is a ton of info at the house as far as sightseeing and adventures in the area. we could not have had a better experience. we will be back ! Thank you for allowing us to stay a month in this fantastic getaway ! 5 + stars 😊

  I rented this property for a birthday weekend. There were 3 couples. This property was absolutely perfect for us. The cabin is beautiful and spacious. It is updated and has all the amenities. Breathtaking doesn't begin to describe the views! We are planning on making this trip and annual one. I would encourage anyone to book this property for their mountain getaway.
