House Amenities
Main Floor Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, wine glasses, mugs, silverware, knives, strainers, pots, pans, cookie sheets, coffee maker(Drip), measuring spoons, measuring cups, crockpot, blender, full size oven, full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kids utensils and plates. The living room has a flat screen SMART TV and DVD player. Please remember to bring your log in's for your favorite streaming services. This house does not have Direct TV. There are only 2 steps to the front door of this house and beyond that everything is on one level. 3 bedrooms in a traditional split bedroom plan with the master with king and en-suite bathroom on one side and 2 bedrooms on the other. One bedroom with a queen the other with 2 sets of twin bunks. The master bedroom, queen bedroom and living room all have flat screen TV's with either Roku or streaming capabilities. The Kitchen, dining room, and living Room are perfectly set up to both watch your favorite football game and enjoy the long range mountain view! This house has a full size washer and dryer as well as all full size appliances in the kitchen, and a work/ desk space in the queen bedroom. We even have a little cabinet for your fur baby supplies which includes some pup towels, dog bowls, and a leash or two! Limit is 2 dogs only for this cabin. Please indicate that when you book as the fee for dogs is added AFTER you book. The house is on a combo and access is all touch free. You will be emailed all your access instructions and gate code when you book. Please keep an eye on your email for those documents!

What's Included
All our cabins come with all linens we do recommend guest bring extra pool towels for both visiting the campground (huge swimming holes down there!) and the community pool for when it is open. We also provide one roll of paper towel and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for each guest. A small amount of cleaning supplies as well as a few trash bags, dish detergent, laundry detergent and a sponge are also provided.

Community
This house is located in Powder Horn Mountain in Deep Gap, NC. We are about 25 mins to Appalachian State University and Main Street in Boone but only about 13 miles. We are about 18 -25 miles to all the ski resorts or about 35 to 45mins. Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are each about 35-45 mins from our front gate. The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 7 miles away with an access point at the top of Elk Creek Rd on old 421. The closest grocery store is Food Lion located at the intersection of 421 and Old 421 across from Tractor Supply. There is RV camping and horseback riding near by at Leatherwood Mountain Resort. Elk Creek is just outside the front gate of Powder Horn and is a state stocked trout stream this is an anglers paradise make sure you get your fishing license, you will find it is some of the best fishing around! Local wineries and breweries abound including Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Booneshine Brewing, Grandfather Vineyards, Banner Elk Winery and so many others. So much to do!!!! Make sure to also check out the Lil' Hidden Creek Gem mine located about 1 mile past the back gate of Powder Horn. Call ahead and they will get mining buckets ready for the little ones! Within the gates of Powder Horn is its own little community! There are three ponds, a campground on the river, horseshoe pits, grills, and fire circles, Clubhouse, fitness center, community pool(open seasonally), game room, playground, tennis court, half basket ball court, chapel and miles upon miles of awesome hiking trails right out your front door!

  My family and I were looking to rent a cabin for the weekend. This was a perfect place, the deck was very nice. Susan was very responsive to our question about the fireplace. The only negative was that the house didn't have propane for the indoor fireplace. Other than that it was great, my family and I very much enjoyed it.

  Reverence Retreat afforded our family of four exactly what the name suggests. Set high up among mountain magnolias, sourwoods and maples, the location offers a good view of surrounding mountains with comfortable amenities. The divided floor plan - bedrooms and baths on opposite ends of the house - suited our needs well. The house is spacious, very clean and well-appointed. We found the local management agent readily accessible and eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We would be happy to visit again.

  Overall this was a great house. The view was amazing and it’s a neighborhood with lots of great amenities. We took advantage of the pool, the game room, in neighborhood hiking trails, and a sliding rock by the river campgrounds.
  The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. We experienced some electrical issues and mngmt worked to get them fixed but it did take all week. We had issues opening and closing several of the doors I think due to being a mountain house. I wouldn’t say this was the nicest house we’ve stayed in, but it fit the bill for location and the view truly was stunning.
