House Amenities
Linens (bedding and towels)are provided along with one full roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel in the kitchen. A small starter packet of laundry pods, dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, sponge and some misc. snacks are provided for each guest. Guests can use the wood burning fireplace in the living room and can order bundles of wood from manager at $10 per bundle 24hr notice required. The kitchen is heavily stocked with everything you need to feed a large group including all your silverware, dishes, cutting boards, pots and pans, knives, cookie sheets, measuring cups and spoons, can opener, strainer, crock pot, blender, mixer, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, full size fridge. Electric oven (NO DISHWASHER) along with plenty of counterspace for all your cooking needs. Renters do have access to use the canoe at the lake and there are life jackets provided in the lower level.
Electronics
There are currently 4 SMART TV’s in the house one in each upstairs bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the basement.
Internet
Internet is HUGHESNET satellite internet which works well throughout the house. We do recommend downloading anything you may be binge watching before arrival too many folks on the internet can slow it down!
Community
Renters have access to the outdoor community pool during the summer months as well as miles of hiking trails, community clubhouse, fitness center, tennis court, campground, horseshoe pit, fishing, paddle boating, and more. The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. Cell phone signal is descent especially if you have Verizon but wifi calling is available. (check the settings on your phone) This house is the absolute getaway. Pets are ALLOWED for $50 per pet for the stay.LIMITED TO 2 DOGS MAX AND MUST BE UNDER 30 LBS. ( please cover all furniture you think pup may jump on as it can get wet and muddy being on the lake) You must make note of the fur babies when you make your reservation. Little Knife is about 20 minutes to Boone, 45 mins to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. This is the perfect place to stay while going out to enjoy High County festivals, Fly Fishing, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, various wineries, breweries, and App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore! 45 minutes to ski resorts.
