♻️ Housekeeping Notes
Community trash pickup takes place every Monday. Currently (7/30/2026) we are asking guests to come prepared with Black heavy duty trash bags and to take trash with them or drop at the local trash sites for the county due to the bear population getting into trash holders.
Guests who choose to recycle are asked to take recyclables home or use the Watauga County Recycling Center on Elk Creek Road.

  It was the perfect place for our family to stay to escape the summer heat and have some peace and quiet. We would love to return in the fall to enjoy the foliage from the beautiful view from the deck.
